Scott glanced at
the ultrasound and back at his wife Felina, who looked just as stunned as he.
They looked up at the doctor.
“Are those babies in there?” Scott whispered.
The doctor smiled,
nodding her head emphatically. Felina started laughing and ended up almost
unable to stop. Scott held her hand wondering if the thought of two babies was
more than she could handle. She finally stopped, glancing at her husband with
tears of joy on her face.
“Do you know how cool this is, we are having doubles? We can get both
of these young’uns at one time.” Scott relaxed at
her words.
“More importantly, there is one of each.”
The doctor said and
Felina started screeching with laughter again. Scott jumped up, pumping his
fist and then hitting his chest. Felina rolled her eyes at his antics.
“Umm, Bradshaw you didn't do this alone. Hello!” Sheepishly, he
walked over to the table and pulled her in his arms, kissing her.
“Baby, you know you are first but I got kind of caught up.”
“Right, I am not coming in second to your children.” She teased.
“Never that!”
He leaned in
kissing her passionately, until the doctor cleared her throat, sending Felina
into another giggling binge.

Arabella chose her
outfit carefully. She and Juan had been ‘seeing’ each other as
friends for the past few months. He was patient and she was taking it slower
because they had been lifelong friends, lovers and then broke apart while both
pursued other interests but she wanted him and it was clear he wanted her as
well. They were both a bit hesitant of messing up a friendship they had almost
lost once, but…

am going home with her. Either or, we are friends but it’s time to get back to loving and stop all
this foolishness. I wrote something special for her. Juan thought as
